Getting started
Quick start

Create a service
Choose KYC or Age Verification and configure your platform, URLs, and compliance settings.

Save your credentials
Copy your
api_key and client_secret immediately — the secret is shown only once. Store them in environment variables.3
Call the API
POST from your server to create a verification session and receive a redirect URL for your user.

Handle the webhook
ProntoID POSTs the result to your
webhook_url. Respond 200 to acknowledge, then update your user's status.

Security
Never expose API keys client-side. All calls must originate from your server. Rotate compromised credentials from your dashboard immediately.
